Welcome to American Legion Post #27
American Legion Post #27 is a member of the American Legion District 4, Milwaukee County Wisconsin. Our clubhouse is open to the public, and is located in South Milwaukee at 920 Monroe Avenue next to the city library. We have been serving the people of South Milwaukee, and Southeastern Milwaukee County since 1919. As part of Americas largest veterans organization we offer you the opportunity to become involved with programs that help our youth, perform patriotic community service, assist our veterans, and assist our men, and women in uniform.
The mission of the American Legion Department of Wisconsin is to provide service to veterans, their families, and their communities.
Our post has all three members of the American Legion Family:
The largest group of members belong to our main membership. We have several generations of members; from World War II veterans, to todays young veterans returning from places such as Afghanistan, and Iraq.
Our Auxiliary is comprised of the mothers, wives, and daughters of veterans from our community.
Our Sons of the American Legion squadron is comprised of the sons of veterans; currently the squadron meets with the main membership.
